Another belated fishing report - Mar 30, 2005

It occurred to me that I have been derelict in my duties and neglected to report that the Pompano arrived here right on schedule. Nathan predicted his first fish on the 17th of March and he did in fact hook one that day. It's been a bit hit or miss with good fishing when the weather is decent but the weather has been typical for March. So far spring break has been a mixed bag of weather but Jason, Nathan, Chad, Jr. and Charles have been fishing here the past couple weeks pretty steadily with success. Some days have been better than others (What was with the 48 hour tornado watch any way?) but most have been fishable.

Chris heads home on Friday from the Everglades after a month of Snook & Tarpon fishing there, ready to hit the water running for Redfish & Trout. Be sure to ask him about Lowell Cantor's Keys Grand Slam (Tarpon, Permit & Bonefish) which was also Chris' first Keys Slam. Tommy will be in south Florida for 3 more trips before he heads home in 2 weeks, first to dive and then to fish. With the price of gas, it's nice to know that we are a fairly quick trip for most of the Southeastern US.

Let me know if you're planning to be in our area the next 2 months - fishing guides are standing by.
