Good News! - Jul 15, 2005

Sorry for bombarding you all with emails the last few days but they opened the bridge to St. George Island this morning to visitors and I just thought many of you would like to know. That doesn't mean that all is as it was before the storm, there's still lots of work to be done, but some happy vacationers are going to be checking into their homes this weekend as scheduled. If you aren't sure, please check with your rental company.

Also, I checked yesterday with all of the local Inns, Motels and B & B's from Apalachicola to Mexico Beach and nearly all had rooms available through the next 2 weeks. They would welcome your business.

Some of our anglers have had to cancel their previously scheduled fishing trips, which hurts my feelings for them because the fishing is really, really good right now. Jason, Nathan & Adam have dates open for Flats fishing and so do Chad, Jr., Charles & Kelly, etc for bayfishing. I'm positive there are offshore fishing trips available too. Please call me if you can come fishing!
