Redfishing & Hurricanes - Aug 26, 2005
If you get your emails at work then by the time you read this on Monday, Katrina will have already done her worst. That's right, here we go again, right back in the cone and probably on the east side (wind & surge side) to boot. And of course today was a truly beautiful day. Chad & Tommy both got their days in but the fish just might have an inkling that something is up. This entire week the shallow water fishing has been great and hopefully by the middle of next week we should be right back to normal again.
Just a couple of "RBGS news items" to share - I'll keep it brief. Chad is doing Gator hunts - $800 for 9 foot or better and I think the season opens next weekend. (Sept. 1st - 8th)With Chad as your guide it's pretty much guaranteed.
Capt. Jr. Holland has divided his property in Eastpoint into four - 1 acre parcels and would love to sell his land to fishermen! (as opposed to normal people, I suppose) For information, you can contact me, Kathy Robinson also of Suncoast Realty - 850-653-3374 or zip me an email.
And best of all, next Thursday, Sept. 1st is Tommy's birthday. If you see him, congratulate him on 13 years past 30!
