Just a quick note to keep everyone up to date on local happenings, fishing & otherwise. First - the weather seems to be cooperating FINALLY with overnight temperatures up over the 60 degree mark. (Note the Sunshine in the above photo taken 5/7/05 of Capt. Jason Rucker and Jeff Hylden, on a Saturday even.) Should have a positive effect on the water temperature and tempting bigger fish to head on in. If you are anywhere in the vicinity, and would like to catch a fish or 3, Junior has an opening this Thursday and Friday and Chad is open all day Wednesday. Nathan has Thursday open and Jason is available on Saturday.

Tommy and I are officially the newest husband and wife Real Estate team in the area, working with Suncoast Realty on St. George Island. (Those of you who fish with Tommy may know that he has had his Florida Real Estate license for the last 10 years, but he has been totally focused on the fishing!) This does not mean that Tommy will be fishing any less or that I will be shirking my guide service duties - heaven forbid. Our goal is to be available to you if you have an interest in local homes and property and to make the process simple for you. And, if you are already a homeowner here, we'd be thrilled to talk to you if you decide to sell.

Along the same vein, Capt. Jr. Holland has decided to sell his 5-acre tract in Eastpoint, including his doublewide mobile home and out buildings. (This property is already platted, recorded and ready for individual sale but Jr. would like to sell the whole parcel as one.) I forgot to ask if he'd throw in his chickens.
