Full Fledged Fall Fishing - Oct 21, 2003

The Turners from Monroe GA (pictured) hooked up these redfish on October 10th while flats fishing with Capt. Tommy Robinson.

Last weekend was a picture perfect example of our fall fishing and fall weekend weather. 80's & sunny during the day, 60's overnight, yes - perfect! While Tommy & Chris were gone hunting over the weekend, Nathan, Jason, Anthony, Chad, Jr., Charles, Darrell & Kelly fished their hearts out, as did most of the other local bay guides in the county. This coming weekend looks even busier. (Tommy did make it home early for a couple dives yesterday)Offshore it looked like the Amberjack were biting pretty strong and the Spanish Mackerel have been thick on the gulf side of the barrier islands. Some Pompano have even shown up.

Open dates for fishing the next couple weeks - Flats Fishing - Tommy - Oct. 31, Nov. 2-4; Chris - Oct. 29-31, Nov. 2-4; Nathan - Oct. 22, 23, 28-31, Nov. 1, 3, 4; Jason - Oct. 22, 23, 27-31, Nov.1-8, 10, 12, 14

Bay Fishing - Chad - Nov. 2, 4 & 10-14; Jr. - Oct. 23, 28, 30, Nov. 3, 5, 11 - 13; Charles - Oct. 22, 23, 26-29, 31, Nov. 2-6, 9-14; Darrell & Kelly have additional dates open. The last 2 weeks of November look pretty good for Bay and Flats fishing availability.
