Bull Redfish - Nov 8, 2002
Rylee Palmer let her dad Eddie hold the 44 inch Bull Red she reeled in on October 26th. I think it’s taller than she is!
If you like sunny 75 degree days and sleeping at night with the window open, this is the time of year for you to visit us here. The cooler water temperature has the Redfish really excited and there’s plenty of them in clear shallow water. Capt. Chris was catching bluefish last week up to 4 & 5 lbs each - some of the largest he has ever caught. (Tommy & Chris ARE open the next 2 weeks - better catch them before gun season opens in AL)
Capt. Chad has been really happy with his catch lately. Phil Sullivan’s group fished November 4th and caught 8 Bull Reds 15 to 30 lbs. This is a great time for all the different varieties of Trout too. Fishing should continue to be good through the Christmas holidays. Speaking of which, Christmas Gift Certificates are available for our fishing trips, in case you don’t know what to put on your Santa List.
This weekend is the Shallow Water Fishing Expo at the Pinellas Expo Center - Sat Nov. 9 - Sun Nov. 10. All the details can be found at www.castlow.com. If you go, please visit the Florida Guides Assn. booth.
If you have any photos from recent fishing trips with the Robinson Brothers Guide Service I’d love to have a copy (mailed or emailed) for our website or for publication in The Forgotten Coastline newspaper or the Woods ‘N Water Magazine.
